Bento shut down. Here’s how to rebuild your page

· 5 min read · Written by ODDBOX, which makes one of the options below

Bento.me closed on February 13, 2026. Its links now point to Linktree, and Bento said all user data would be deleted after the shutdown. If you didn’t export in time, you’ll need to rebuild your page. The good news: if you collect your links first, you can rebuild a grid page in one sitting.

What happened

Linktree bought Bento more than two years before the shutdown. In December 2025 Bento announced it would close on February 13, 2026. Users could export their content until then and got an offer to move to Linktree. Old Bento links redirect to Linktree, and Bento said it would permanently delete user data after closing.

What to look for in a replacement

Most people chose Bento for its look: a grid of different-sized tiles instead of a stack of buttons. If that’s what you want back, check for these:

How to rebuild without an export

  1. Collect your links. Search your Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube bios, old emails, and the Wayback Machine (web.archive.org) for your old Bento address. If someone saved a copy, it can remind you what was on it.
  2. Pick your top three. On Bento, the big tiles did the work. Decide which three things you most want people to see: usually your best work, how to hire you, and your main social account.
  3. Start from what you have. On ODDBOX, “Start your ODDBOX” can pull your photo, name, and links from a public Instagram profile or a Linktree page, so you don’t retype everything.
  4. Make the important things big. Give your top three the large tiles. Everything else can be small. “Arrange it for me” tidies the grid if it gets messy.
  5. Update your bios. Replace the old Bento link everywhere it appears, especially in Instagram and TikTok bios.
