A portfolio page for videographers that gets you booked

A client deciding whether to hire you wants three answers fast: what your work looks like, whether you’ve done their kind of job, and how to reach you. Put your best video first, show only your strongest few, and make contacting you one tap.
1. Lead with one video, not a wall of them
Your first video does most of the work. Make it your best recent piece that matches the clients you want, not your oldest favorite. Give it the biggest spot on the page. A 60–90 second reel or one strong project usually beats a two-minute montage that tries to show everything.
2. Show four to eight projects
More isn’t better. Every weak video makes the strong ones look less certain. Pick projects that each prove something different: an event, a brand spot, a music video, a recap. Title each one with what it was and who it was for, like “Brand event recap, White Claw”.
3. Group by the work people hire you for
If you shoot weddings and brand content, a wedding couple and a marketing manager are looking for different things. Put the kind of work you most want to book near the top, and say it in your bio in one line: “Event and brand videographer in Denver.”
4. Make hiring you obvious
- A contact button or form near the top, not only an email address at the bottom.
- Where you work. A city or region tells local clients you’re nearby. A map tile does this at a glance.
- Who you’ve worked with. A short list of clients or a media kit builds trust quickly.
- How fast you reply. “I reply within a day” removes a reason to hesitate.
5. Keep it fast on phones
Most people will open your link from Instagram or a text message, on a phone. Use embedded videos (YouTube or Vimeo) instead of huge uploaded files, keep your page to one screen of important things, and check it on your own phone before you share it.
A layout that works
| Spot | What goes there |
| Top, large tile | Your best recent video |
| Next to it | A short line about what you shoot, and a contact button |
| Middle row | Three or four more projects, one per kind of work |
| Small tiles | Instagram, YouTube or Vimeo, your city on a map |
| Optional | Media kit, a client quote, a product or booking link |
ODDBOX is built for this kind of page: video tiles that play on the page, a contact form that lands in your inbox, map and media kit tiles, and a free plan. The demo page on the editor is a real videographer’s work, so you can see the layout before you start.
